Scrapper

Is a smaller light brown and black male dog who was dropped on our doorstep along with Bandita by their owners. Both dogs appeared to be a bit confused, however, they were in fairly good shape.

Our vets at the Refugio clinic checked him over and estimated Scrapper’s age at about 5 years. The previous owners had explained they were forced to move and could not take the dogs because there was no room for them.

The ideal situation would be that these two older buddy’s get adopted together to a loving and caring home, but if adopted separately they will likely make the adjustment. All they need is love. And good care.

Although he is in general good health and sociable with other dogs, he has not displayed an outgoing affection for people, which may be due to temporary depression. Generally though, older dogs are harder to place for adoption and he may end up at our Sanctuary for older dogs.
